“The most important thing is to inspire people to be great.”

“I’m Xanthinna McMahon (you can call me Xan when we meet), Co-Owner and Studio Manager of Impact House. Edmonton’s first hybrid performance studio built on the belief that great training environments build great athletes.

Fitness has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. My journey began through years of movement, coaching, and a background in teaching that shaped how I lead, educate, and develop people. Today, that passion extends beyond coaching into business, where I’m deeply driven by building high-performance teams, cultivating strong culture, and creating environments where both coaches and athletes can thrive.

Impact House was built on a simple idea: create the studio I wanted to train at.

When Ivan and I travel, we make a point of going on “sweat tours,” trying as many workouts as possible in every city we visit. What we consistently found missing was a true hybrid training environment—one that brought together barbells, running, and turf under one roof.

So we built it.

With HYROX now a core part of our training methodology, the vision became even clearer: a place where hybrid athletes are built. A studio that blends strength, endurance, and performance to help people train harder, compete stronger, and continually evolve. I have completed 3 Hyrox races to date and am training for my next 2 in 2026.

As a coach, my philosophy is simple: I will push you to the edge of your ability—but never past it. You’ll feel challenged, supported, and confident every step of the way.

Because every session is an opportunity to get stronger, move better, and discover what you’re truly capable of."
